Everything was fine after that. Maybe because I upgraded Windows 98se to XP, IE7 probably doesn't accept the old format. That's not a good sign. Would you give some examples of programs that didn't work? I haven't had anything programs fail after installing IE7. This is on XP Pro SP2 and XP Home SP2, all fresh installs (when I installed them - not upgrades over existing systems). Ouch! That’s not a good sign.

My System had been running great since 2000, then I saw IE7 available on Windows Update. I installed IE7 and it worked fine until rebooted, then alot of programs on my desktop would not execute?
